1. A busy weekend

    31 31 May 2011

Last weekend was a busy wedding weekend with weddings at Wroxall Abbey and Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir in Oxford. Two very different weddings, one with a purple and cream theme, beautiful English country style and the second, all things white……perfect for Le Manoir! Hannah chose a bouquet of white peonies, stocks, veronica and freesia, so beautifully classic and a bundle of fragrance. Photos to follow shortly, but I hope Liz and Hannah had a fantastic day and enjoyed their blooms.

I couldn’t help but admire this show garden that earnt itself a gold at Chelsea. It had everything that I love about flowers in it……a charming wild and free style that captures the informality of the English garden. From delphiniums to foxgloves, herbs to daisies, it was a true delight.

I hope you like looking at these pictures as much as I do and maybe they will give you some inspiration for your own floral designs!
